I've never lived there, you know. My parents are born-and-raised Tennesseans. Us girls are all West Coast primadonnas. Our whole family (minus a couple) are still in that general area.
Sweet tea, "yes sir, yes ma'am", barbeque, college football, cicadas and crickets, hot muggy nights, fireflies, "All ya'll!"
Likely it's not as picturesque as I dream it to be. I have many friends who are longing to get out of the South or have already done it. They know the good, the bad and the ugly.
I think I may need to know it for myself.
So... Tennessee - I think you and I will have a date sometime in the future. Hope that's cool with you.

Are you living where you want to? If God said "GO!" and you got to pick, where would you head? Let's chat. =)

Alaska. No Question.
If you move to Tennessee, I will come visit you all the freakin time. Especially if your future children will call me "Ms. Jenny." haha.
I love the South. I have always been a Southern girl at heart. And, to me... it is all its cracked up to be - but, then I come from a little bitty town where the coolest thing to do was have a field party. So, maybe I just wanna get back to my roots.
In all seriousness, if I could have a ranch in the South (or in Montana - not the South, but the same concept I think), then I totally would. Reason # 473 I want to marry a rancher.
Not sure where I would go if God said - probably anywhere. Sometimes I just wish that I could "go" for one week out of the month, or something, and then "stay" for the other three. I love to travel, but I am also a homebody. I am hoping that this new job with YL will be like that - we'll see.
Got your call yesterday. Will be calling you back soooonnn! :)
Loves and hugs.
I wish wherever God would put us that it would be within a few hours driving distance of each other... especially since I'm going to probably need a Hebrew and Greek tutor!

Lately, my heart has been drawn back to my heritage. I have always had a great affinity for Ireland. All things Irish, really. I researched my family surnames and all of them are from England, specifically Welsh for Tew (which means fat, corpulent person) :(.
I wonder if going back to my motherland might be a step for me.
I think Ireland or England could be the place I'd go at this time. Or the West Coast, ironically.
lately i think i've felt God calling me back to home county to cultivate a community of believers (aka church planting). i dream about it at night. and day dream about it during the day. and have been for about 4 months or so.
pray for us, as jen doesn't want to live that close to my parents.
Do it!!!!! :)
