Talk Thursday // New Things

If we're friends on Facebook, you've probably noticed the many postings about my new apartment and my moving processes. Which I am sorry for, by the way.

If we're not friends on Facebook, that's weird and we should be.

Anyway, as of Saturday, I will be a new resident of Maple Valley, WA. Federal Way will sadly be short one loud laugher.

But it's a new change...a big change. I won't be living with my parents, I'll be living on my own, I'll have to actually cook meals rather than just live off Easy Mac and cereal. (Who am I kidding? Of course I'll live off Easy Mac and cereal...)

There are lots of big changes going on for a lot of people. So share yours. Are you excited? Are you nervous? Do you think you're going to chuck? (Maybe that's just me...) Let us know. Nothing is too small or dorky to share. If it wasn't for the move to the MV, my change would be my underwear. And yes, I would share that with you all. ;)

Having recently completed Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University course, and got rid of $8,000 of debt (and still working on it), I'm involved in another course that's just started; I'm helping out this time. It's exciting to think the improvement in people's lives we'll be seeing :)

You already know all my new things: getting married, hopefully moving to Texas, Stephen hopefully starting seminary. (Is it bad if part of me wishes I was back in Wa where life was a little simpler?)

jen and i have started teaching the 6th grade sunday school class. it looks to be a good time. we're also participating in a "turbo group" for life group leaders; after the turbo group is finished, we start a pastoral internship with our pastor where we learn how to start and grow a life group. on top of that, we're part of a children's committee that investigates different children's ministries in order to help us re-vamp ours. AND we're going to start working in the toddler room at church once a month.

what did i miss?

and liam has started walking.

Let's see... I start seminary in 10 days so I will be a full-time seminary student while working full-time at my job. Not to mention my balancing my roles as daughter, sister, friend, and girlfriend! It's gonna be insanity!!!

Well - there's the whole thing of me starting my own 501c3 organization and trying to change people's lives.

And not, it's not just you who feels like they are going to chuck. I promise.
