Unless you've been living under a rock or recently woken up from a coma, you should be blisteringly aware of the Twilight hype that has swept, not only the nation, but also...the world. For the last 14 months, we have inundated with Bella, Edward, Jacob and Forks, Washington. People are picking "Team Edward" or "Team Jacob", underwear is being tossed about like lacy grenades and tweens the world over are going to let out a collective sigh this weekend as they flock to the theatres for the first view of a shirtless Edward or Jacob. (For that matter...so will I...)
But I digress...
Are you going to head to the theatre this weekend to see Twilight: New Moon? And a post-script question: are you Team Edward or Team Jacob? Or do you care at all?
Even if this movie isn't up your cinematic alley, you have to admit, it's a huge deal. Like Titanic. Or my birthday. =)

I am going on Saturday!
And I have always been Team Edward. Even though Taylor Lautner is a very nice little treat.
I'm going tomorrow night! I'm mostly team Edward but I definitely wouldn't kick Jacob out of bed either ;)
twilight's dumb. the only good its done for me is to help me illustrate something in sunday school last week. other than that, i have no need for vampires.
if kids want to read good vampire literature, they should turn to stoker or the historical records of romania.
and we should teach our kids that living a life of blood-letting and blood sucking and blood drinking are contrary to the gospel.
i hate twilight.
I'm sure I'll end up seeing it, but I could take it or leave it. If I had to pick a team it would probably be Jacob, but the only real reason I want to see the movie is to see Dakota Fanning as Jane. XD
I'm seeing it on Sunday and I'm oddly excited for a 24-year-old. =)
I too have always been Team Edward but that's just because Jacob takes a turn for the worst in Eclipse. And frankly, I'd be Team Edward or Jacob over having to support Bella in any way. Except for in Breaking Dawn - then I like her.
Kristen Stewart, on the other hand, not even a little.
JD - thank you for letting us all know how smart you are, so smart that you seem to have knowledge on Romanian historical records and have even formed an opinion that it's "good vampire literature."
Save the Twilight rant. It's unecessary in a blog entry that is clearly aimed at it's fans.
I dunno. I like Alice, so I don't know what that makes me. She's pleasant.
I don't know if I'm going to see it or not. I'm sure I will eventually.
I'm with Erica. The creepiness of Dakota Fanning is the only thing that could possibly induce me to go see this. Even so, I will probably wait for the DVD.

There is no way that I could see it this weekend if I wanted to. In Waco, tickets have been sold out for three weeks. Instead, I will be going home and seeing family. I don't have to pay for the popcorn at home!

Wow Anonymous, you had a lot of time on your hands. Nice.
Yeah, I finally saw the first one on Saturday. I laughed and laughed and laughed. And then cringed because I already committed to spending money on the second.
The good news. My ticket will be less than three bucks, creepy Dakota fanning, and.... Yeah I got nothing for the third.
Wait!
Nope. Still nothing.
