Reasons I Never Want Cats

* Cat fur EVERYWHERE
* No sense of personal space
* Can't make a decision - inside, outside...PICK A SIDE! WE'RE AT WAR!
* In the dark they are almost demonic
* Have no sense of decorum
* Don't understand that 5:30 am is not an appropriate time to start meowing
* I have to worry about feeding them

I'm cat-sitting for a friend this week. And the 2 cats are pretty good. But seriously, I am committed to not having pets. I'm too lazy and too selfish to keep pets.

Are ya'll pet people? How do you handle the stress?

I loooooooooove my kitty. She's the best ever.
A cat's purr is actually found to relieve anxiety in humans...

But the best thing to do with a cat, good or bad - get a laser and go to town. My cat will jump up walls for that laser. HILARIOUS. and definitely stress-relieving ;)

we have ruby, and though i've trained her to be as low-maintenance as possible, she still gets on my nerves.

since moving in my mother-in-law and her two cats, life has gotten even more stressful. i used to think i liked cats, but now i know that i was only lying to myself.

jen said we can have no more pets. i almost think i'm ok with that. i'm not an animal person.

I only like cats that hate everyone. Mostly because they can sense that I have the same exact hatred and will usually form some sort of tentative alliance with me. I mean, they know that if it sticks around I'll kick it, and I know if I try to pet it too long it'll attack me.

We both have a "friends at church, strangers at the liquor store" attitude towards each other.

What about cats spraying you in the face? Does that not bother you? Did you enjoy that?

What cat is spraying you in the face?? That cat needed to be spayed!
Most cat problems like the ones mentioned are due to bad ownership; same as dogs. and well kids for that matter.
