Hello there SarahLewie! How are you?

So I was curious and looked up my top most played songs on iTunes. I was surprised to see what I found. I haven't listened to most of the songs, nay, all of the songs in some time. So I'm a little surprised but the record goes back to when I first had them, which has been years. So:

5) "Point of Difference" - Hillsong United

4) "Chaos" - Mute Math

3) "Melatonin" - Silversun Pickups

2) "Sometimes" - MBV

1) "Noticed" - Mute Math

Go figure. I listened to Mute Math before coming here. Evidently I liked them a lot. Although, ever since I've gotten genius on iTunes, things have been different. All kinds of songs are being played instead of by albums anymore. Needless to say, none of those are what I would call my favorite songs.

looks like my top five are songs by neil diamond, off of his "12 songs" album. great stuff. actually, my top 8 are songs from that album.

other artists in my top 25 are: sufjan stevens, gnarles barkley, audio adrenaline, and john mayer (his continuum album).

if you included my cd player in the car, you would find such things as: cake, compassion art, derek webb, caedmon's call, josh garrels, among others.

liam and i listen to a lot of miles davis, john coltrane, contemporary artists singing hymns, the cathedrals, and classical music.

but really, with 5282 songs (24.8 gigs), how can you really just choose five?

I knew that reading other people's comments were gonna make me feel like a musical dork....

1. Be OK - Ingrid Michaelson
2. Different Kind of Fine - the Zac Brown Band
3. If I Ever - Ali Rogers
4. The Chain - Ingrid Michaelson
5. Whatever It Is - the Zac Brown Band

Apparently, I'm really diggin' Ingrid and Zac right now. Cause they're splashed throughout the rest of the top 25 as well... wow. =)

And Gilley, other than Hillsong United I haven't heard of another one of those bands. I feel musically challenged... oh well.

1. Holiday from Real- Jack's Mannequin
2. Paper Candy- Mike Dunn & the Kings of New England
3. The Mixed Tape- Jack's Mannequin (Again)
4. Hot Girls in Hot Moods- Butch Walker
5. To Be Alone With You- Sufjan Stevens

My top played song has a play count of 96...but I'm sure, including the number of times I have listened to it in my car....it's WAY more than that.

Jamie, seriously, you are creepin' my stuff out. My #6 song is "Something In the Way She Moves" by James Taylor. I loves him.

Are you sure we're not related?!

my music is not all kept in the same place like it used to be, but in general my top would include nichole nordeman and kelly clarkson. besides that, it could be anything, but those two definitely own everybody else.

I'm behind, but my top 5 are all from Ingrid's Be Ok CD - what can I say - I just love it.
