Talk Thursday // Help!

Today's Talk Thursday is completely selfish, but I'm willing to do it... for the cause.... of myself.

I'm at work. At 10 to 10 we completely ran out of things to do, but I'm on the clock til 4:30. What in the world am I supposed to do to stay occupied for the next 6 hours?!

Have ya'll been in those types of situations? What do you do to keep yourself busy during a long day?

Youtube.

Speaking of, I re-watched old gregg.

Never cracked a grin.

It just wasn't funny this time.

wv. "ordire"- the only way to express surprise when traveling through Wisconsin.

If you don't get it, say it out loud.

have you done "Wordles" - those are addicting.
I also surf entertainment websites like tvguide, EW, E!, people, etc.
MSN and Yahoo are good pages to go to because they have a variety of articles to read and pictures to look at, etc.
You can try to find an ebook. Or online games like gamehouse.com. Read movie reviews, or check out AFI and make a list of movies you'd like to see this summer, etc.
All of those are things you can do on mute, if you need to.
Hope that helps...

when i worked at mcdonald's, we would hose down the new kid and throw them in the freezer when we had nothing better to do. or we would squirt condiments on each other. or trade food with other restaurants.

so, if you're working in a restaurant and aren't the new kid, those would be fun.

post blogs, read blogs.
YouTube is blocked at my work, as is FB & Twitter...they haven't caught on to blogspot yet!

i suppose the best answer would be to find some work to do so you're not stealing from the company :)

You should write me a letter if you are ever in this situation again - because - everyone loves to get snail mail! :)
