"I learned that being vulnerable doesn't mean being weak." - Anne Hathaway

This is the sarahlewie.blogspot.com word of the day.

It is the bane of my miserable existence;

it makes me tired and upset;

and it is something that I have to deal with.

Immediately.

Before it eats me alive.

I am scared to death.

I loves me some Sarah Lewie.

Even when she's scared.

Vulnerability.
Thanks for being honest!
Personally, being vulnerable goes against a lifetime of bad habits, bad examples & the desire to protect myself & remain in control at all costs.
But I have to tell you - as I'm learning to become vulnerable, transparent & honest, I've found great freedom. It hurts like hell - to be sure. But it's been worth it.
Be encouraged, blogger friend. Jesus is a much better protector than the thickest, tallest, steel-enforced wall we could ever build.
He's got your heart in his hands.

Being open is what draws people to you. It also means you risk losing bits of yourself. As long as you are living for Jesus, and being who you are in Jesus, He will restore you, keep you strong and walking in joy. He did not die for us to lead miserable lives.
